• Yesterday was a sunny day. It was really exceptional. I got up late at ten o'clock. I had breakfast with my family. First, I did my homework. Then, I went to the internet café to work on my project. In the afternoon, I had lunch at two o'clock. After lunch, I brushed my teethand I watched TV.Later, I played football with my friends. Finally, I had dinner and I went to bed early at eight thirty. It was a wonderful and beautiful day.

  • Imene received this e-mail from Lotfi a Tunisian pupil.

    Hi Imene,

I don't know why we study all these subjects. We have a very busy timetable, many tests and a lot of homework. I'm tired and bored of school.

You are Imene. Write back an e-mail to make him like school.

    **********************************************************************Dear Lotfi,

Hi lotfi! How are you? Please don't leave school. You have to study at school because it's very important for all. You have to think about your future and what are you going to do next. Don't get bored. Just like school. You have to feel special because poor pupils don't study like you. You have a long life and you have to study. I'm sure you are going to be an interesting person if you study well. In the future, you are going to have a nice job, a nice life, too. School is your future. Don't give up. You have to work.

    Imene

    Dear dad and mum,

How are you? Fine I hope.

I promised to write you as soon as possible. So here’s my first letter in which I you describe some London wonders.

In London there are many fantastic places where a visitor can enjoy himself. I visited some of them.

On Monday   I went to some interesting places: Trafalgar Square where there is a tall column. I will send you a picture of it later. Then I visited the most recent bridge that crosses the most famous river in London: the Tower Bridge which was open to traffic in 1984 it’s fantastic and famous too.

On Tuesday my friend took me to the most recent royal palace in London built in1837: Buckingham Palace.

London has many markets so on Wednesday I went to the most popular one Camden market by tube. There you can find everything, I bought clothes and souvenirs. I wanted to buy more but I didn’t have a lot of money.

On Thursday I visited the second biggest Cathedral in the world. It’s very tall and wonderful. But after that, I visited one of the oldest sites in the city the Tower of London. It was built in the 11th century. It’s a fantastic place but people have bad memory of it because of its terrible history.

I will send you the pictures of them as soon as possible good bye now.

                                                                                  I miss you,

                                                                                        Imen.
